The following is the round 2 summary from the weekly footy guide (R3)
Good Friday matches are always well attended and last week was no exception, sadly our boys were disappointing after their promising start against Imps the week earlier. Irymple sure are the setting the standard. We hope to learn and grow from the day.
There was a mixed bag on the courts with our A Grade girls setting the standard with another good win. Well done girls.
Today sees us host and welcome the Robinvale crowd. These are always big days so if you see one of our volunteers struggling to keep up, please make the kind gesture and lend a helping hand.
The Bar will be open again after the match today and we would like to see you all in the rooms which makes for a better atmosphere around the club.
The Back to Front Draw will be held on MAY THE 11th. Get you tickets early as there has been a huge rush on them this year. $100 per ticket allows 2 people entry with a whopping $4000 up for grabs, Hahny is looking to go back to back so let’s spoil his party!
Don’t forget to pay your memberships asap, get in and join the Bulldog Club whose round 1 event was well attended by members, guests and sponsors alike. The next Marquee day will include the club’s guest for the day, Collingwood Champion Dane Swan, so get yourself organised.
