South Mildura Product “Lochie O’Brien is impressing the Carlton Football Club
CARLTON assistant coach Brent Stanton says former South Mildura footballer Lochie O’Brien is progressing at a “rapid rate” at the AFL club.
Stanton reviewed O’Brien’s progress over the past three weeks on the Carlton website this week and praised the 19-year-old second- year player’s uptick in form.
“Lochie’s on a really good path and he’s developing at a rapid rate. He was fortunate enough to get as many games as he did in his first year and then unfortunately had a setback in the pre-season that probably didn’t help his continuity in the first half of the year,” Stanton said.
