Site Tour
A program is being developed to enable a tour of the
site for representatives of tenant groups on Monday 21
December 2020.
There will be minimal work activity at the site, allowing
groups to see the enormity of the project and see the
progress of the various components within this exiting
project.
An invitation will be sent shortly for groups to attend a
30-minute tour, which will be led by staff.
Further design
Detailed design work has commenced for the
additional netball courts and cricket facilities which
recently received funding.
Operations Planning
Council is currently considering tenders for an
electronic booking system which will enable hirers to
view and book facilities online in this precinct, and at
other Council recreation venues.
A staffing structure has been developed, with
recruitment of key staff to commence in the New Year.
Staff from relevant teams across Council are planning
for the maintenance requirements in preparation for
operations of the buildings, outdoor sporting facilities
and landscaping.
Council will be seeking a commercial operator for the
café, with information being developed to progress
this.
